Merck & Co. Pharmaceuticals Selects LibLime Academic Koha 5.8
North Bethesda, MD, August 6, 2014 – LibLime, a division of PTFS, announced that Merck & Co in West Point, Pennsylvania has chosen LibLime to provide them with support and hosting services for LibLime Academic Koha 5.8. Merck’s drug development and manufacturing facility in the suburbs of Philadelphia will be taking advantage of the rich functionality in Academic Koha 5.8, including enhanced circulation policies, the Solr search engine, full faceted support in the OPAC, an embedded New Titles list, an additional functionality for expired and cancelled holds, and RDA support. As with all versions of LibLime Koha since 4.8, the entire application resides in the Plack environment for enhanced performance.
