Henderson County Public Library goes live on LibLime Koha

Bethesda, MD –January 10, 2012 – LibLime, a Division of PTFS, announces that the Henderson County Public Library, of Athens, TX, has successfully migrated to LibLime Koha.

Henderson County Public Library staff worked with LibLime’s project management staff on data migration and system configuration. LibLime also provided Henderson with data conversion services and training.

Lorie Lee, Manager of Henderson Public Library, reports that the library staff members “are happy to have the LibLime Koha. Our patrons are excited about being able to search the catalog and check on their accounts online.”

About Henderson County Public Library
The Library resides in the old Post Office building at 121 S. Prairieville St., in Athens, TX. The location is an aged building that has served its purpose since 1973. It continues today with the private support of the Friends of the Library and the Public Library Fund, Inc., and other civic groups and caring citizens who quietly offer their dollars or time, or both, to insure the Library’s operation. The location has the charm of a small southern town while still retaining many of the qualities of a larger city. The success of this Library comes solely from its community that it serves.
