LibLime Koha 4.8 Surpasses 100 Downloads in First Month

LibLime Koha 4.8 was made publicly available on 11/30/2011. In just over a month 123 downloads have been recorded at http://www.liblime.com/downloads.
“All of the new consortial functionality in LibLime Koha 4.8 will open the door to a wider range of libraries now able to use the application”, said Clay Fouts, LibLime’s Chief Software Architect. “We have made many performance improvements, including adapting to the Plack environment, which now allows LibLime Koha to scale to medium and large size libraries and organizations. For the first time, the application can support the workflows of large public library consortiums with sophisticated borrowing policies among autonomous members in a single union catalog.”
